No. Estimates and the site visit are free. We come out, measure the job, look at the ground, and hand you a written quote with no obligation. The number we write down is the number you pay at the end.

Most residential asphalt driveways are a one-day pour once the base is ready. You can usually walk on it that evening and park on it within a day or two. We give you cure-time guidance in writing before we leave.

Foot traffic the same evening. Most vehicles within 24 to 48 hours. Fresh asphalt stays soft for a few weeks in hot weather, so we tell you how to avoid power-steering scuffs and how long to keep sharp turns and jack stands off the surface.

Hot-mix asphalt is new material laid hot and rolled into a smooth, sealed surface. Millings are recycled, ground-up asphalt spread and compacted into a firm, dark surface. Millings are tougher and cleaner than gravel, lower cost than hot-mix, and a great fit for long lanes and budget jobs.

Typically every two to four years, depending on sun exposure and traffic. Sealcoating blocks UV and water, the two things that age pavement fastest. We'll look at your surface and tell you honestly whether it actually needs another coat yet.

Yes. Office lots, strip retail, industrial yards, multi-tenant properties. We handle base prep, paving, ADA-compliant layout, and striping under one written number, and we sequence the work around your hours so you stay open.

Often, yes. Crack filling and hot-mix patching can buy a sound surface years of extra life for a fraction of a repave. If the base underneath has failed, we'll tell you straight that a repair is just a band-aid. We won't push a teardown you don't need.

We're based in York, PA and work a wide radius across south central Pennsylvania. Lancaster, Harrisburg, Hanover, Gettysburg, Carlisle, and the surrounding counties, plus across the line into northern Maryland. If you're in the reach, we'll be there.

Yes. W&W Asphalt is licensed and insured. We're a local, family-run crew. The people who quote your job are the people who pour it, and we stand behind the work.

Asphalt paves best in warmer months when the mix can be laid and compacted before it cools, roughly spring through fall in our region. We schedule honestly around the weather so your surface goes down in the window that gives it the best chance to last.
